Ivy Park

Beyoncé inspires with a new activewear line

Queen Bey’s reign now includes activewear, and of course she’s raising the altheisure bar to new heights. In this video for her Ivy Park Spring/Summer 2017 Campaign, she brings together a group of super-talented women to talk about empowerment, sisterhood and what it means to be your best possible self. The name Ivy Park represents her daughter, Blue Ivy, and Parkwood Park in Houston where Beyoncé used to go to exercise and find personal strength. Beyoncé says she started her activewear label to “push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance.” In the campaign video Bey squad members like Selah Marley (daughter of Lauren Hill and Rohan Marley—yes, Bob’s son), Black-ish actress Yara Shahidi and coolgirl model Sophie Koella share their thoughts and feelings on inspiration and inner resolve. You can watch the full Ivy Park Spring/Summer 2017 Campaign video, above.
