Finally, finally, finally. In a world full of music documentaries and platform-produced concerts, we’re getting one on Billie Eilish. The AppleTV+ documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry relives Billie’s rise to fame.

The biography was filmed during the making of her then-highly anticipated debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? The album, which was made with her equally talented brother and confidant, Finneas, features hits like “bad guy” and “bury a friend.” Her haunting vocals took the world and charts by storm. In her first year in the biz, she took home a whopping five Grammys, giving way to one of the most iconic photos of all time. Not to mention she became a fashion icon with her baggy clothes in an attempt to prevent people from sexualizing her. She is revolutionary — and she did it all, at the time, at 17.

Now, two years later, we’re getting a glimpse into her stunning balancing act of being a teenager and overnight superstar.

Billie got her start as many musicians do these days: on the internet. WIth Finneas by her side, Billie started producing music and sending it straight to streaming. Her instant success brought a record deal and a tour. The trailer for the documentary really highlights just how blurry her life has been since her stardom. But through it all, she maintained a sense of normalcy (like getting her license) and contemplating existential concepts (like grief). Mixed in with the new footage are home videos of her and Finneas in their bedrooms making music and putting on shows. It’s the true raw experience we expect from such an open artist.

Billie Eilish is one-of-a-kind, and no one is more deserving of this documentary treatment. Her impact on pop music’s sound is undeniable. We can’t wait for this doc to drop on AppleTV+ on February 26. PROVOKRs, get ready. It’s going to be a great one. You can watch the trailer by clicking the image above.
