Riches to Rags

German photographer Ellen von Unwerth flips the script on the “rags to riches” trope in this film she directed for the French fashion magazine Egoiste. Shot in black-and-white and starring model Coco Rocha, the short plays out like a quasi-erotic, high-fashion version of a Charlie Chaplain film.
