12 MOST ANTICIPATED FILMS
The Batman, Nope, Don't Worry Darling, Elvis+
As a result of the pandemic, many films from 2020 were subsequently delayed to 2021 and beyond. Many of these films have been released this year and will continue to release into 2022. Here are some of the most anticipated films of 2022.
Babylon
Babylon is a period drama starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. The film will be directed by Damien Chazelle. It is a steamy tale of Hollywood around the era of silent film. It will be released on Christmas Day 2022.
The Batman
Warner Bros upcoming Batman reboot will feature Robert Pattinson stepping into the role of the caped crusader. It will be released on March 4, 2022 after numerous production delays.
Elvis
Elvis is another Warner Bros film that is set to be released on June 24, 2022. This film is a biographical drama covering the life and musical career of the legendary Elvis Presley.
Nope
This will be Jordan Peele’s next horror film following US and Get Out. Releasing on July 22, 2022, the film will star Steven Yeun, Keke Palmer, and Daniel Kaluuya.
Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness
On May 6, 2022, moviegoers will get to witness the next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie’s plot follows Doctor Strange facing a former friend (probably Baron Mordo) and fighting an evil force. Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch will also appear in the film.

A murder mystery set in 1950s London with an all-star cast filled with names such as Saoirse Ronan, David Oyelowo, Sam Rockwell and many others. It does not currently have a release date.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
The third film in this Harry Potter prequel series will follow Newt Scamander as he prepares to clash with the villainous wizard Grindelwald. It will be released on April 8, 2022.
Scream
The slasher classic Scream receives a new film that will take place 25 years after the first and will follow a group of teenagers who are targeted by a new killer wearing the Ghostface mask. Stars from the original such as Neve Campbell and David Arquette make their return. The film will premiere on January 14, 2022.
The Northman
A viking epic starring Alexander Skarsgard as a viking prince on the hunt for revenge. Anya Taylor-Joy plays his wife. It will be released on April 22, 2022.
Untitled David O. Russell film
This film is a period piece set in Los Angeles based on an original idea from Russell himself and features the likes of Christian Bale,
Margot Robbie, Rami Malek, Taylor Swift, Ana Taylor-Joy, John David Washington and many others. It will be released on November 4, 2022.
Don’t Worry Darling
A housewife discovers a dark secret about her husband in this psychological thriller starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh directed by Olivia Wilde. This will be released on September 23,2022.
Ambulance
Michael Bay returns to film directing with this heist movie starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jake Gyllenhaal as adoptive brothers who rob a bank and end up in an ambulance filled with hostages. You can catch it in theaters February 18, 2022
