Chase Infiniti’s rapid rise in Hollywood has been intriguing to watch. She’s gone from starring in the Oscar winning One Battle After Another to the Hulu exclusive series The Testaments, a spin-off of The Handmaid’s Tale.
Infiniti even recently appeared in a music video for K-pop boyband ATEEZ’s latest single, “BAD” — the actress has been a fan of the group since their 2018 debut.
She looks to continue her rise with the The Julia Set, an upcoming coming-of-age drama written and directed by Niki Byrne.
Infiniti stars as Julia, a talented young mathematician who is recruited by a teaching assistant into an elite preparation course for the Putnam Exam, one of the world’s most challenging mathematics competitions.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble alongside Infiniti, including Christopher Briney, Gillian Anderson, Jason Isaacs, Nina Hoss, Chloe Bailey, Carmen Ejogo, Nico Hiraga, Liz Lin and Alex Dillard. Briney plays Pascal, the teaching assistant who recruits Julia for the competition.
The Julia Set marks another intriguing project for Infiniti following her breakout performances in Presumed Innocent and Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another. The film is currently in post-production and is set to make its world premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival this September. The project could provide Infiniti with another opportunity to demonstrate her range while working alongside an accomplished cast of established and emerging performers.
