It’s the end of the world but everyone is so over it in Netflix’s upcoming dark sci fi comedy Don’t Look Up, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, and Meryl Streep.

The film stars DiCaprio (‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’, ‘Inception’) and Lawrence (‘Silver Linings Playbook’, ‘American Hustle’) as an astronomy professor and grad student who make the startling discovery that a comet is heading towards earth and will end all life as we know it.

But as they go on their media tour to build awareness about the catastrophic event, they realize that everyone they meet – a colorful cast of media personalities and political figures including the President of the United States (Meryl Streep, ‘Sophie’s Choice’, ‘The Devil Wears Prada’), her Chief of Staff son (Jonah Hill, ‘21 Jump Street’, ‘Maniac’), radio hosts Brie (Cate Blanchett, ‘Carol’, ‘Elizabeth’) and Jack (Tyler Perry, ‘Gone Girl’, ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead’), and a host of others played by Ariana Grande, Ron Pearlman, King Cudi, and more, is too distracted by the frivolities of life to care about the state of the world.

It will be released on Netflix December 24th. Until then, watch the trailer.
