High-Octane COPSHOP
Hitman Gerard Butler Is Escaping An Assassin

If there’s anyone who could make a case for being this generation’s Arnold Schwarzenegger, it is Gerard Butler. He’s starred in some of the most popular action-thrillers of the decade such as Olympus Has Fallen and its many sequels, Den of Thieves, and Geostorm. Next month will see the release of Gerard Butler’s next film Copshop and it is a non-stop ride.
The film is about a conman who gets himself arrested to escape a couple of hitmen only to put a rookie cop in their crosshairs. Butler plays the role of one of the hitmen, Bob Viddick while Frank Grillo plays conman Teddy Murretto. The film also stars Alexis Louder as Valerie Young, the rookie cop.

The movie is set to be action-packed and high-octane as it has been directed by Joe Carnahan. He’s got a thing for action-comedy and it shows through his body of work. Films previously directed by Carnahan include The A-Team, Smokin’ Aces, and Boss Level. Copshop will be distributed in America by Open Road Films. Company boss Tom Ortenberg mentioned that he was excited to work with Joe Carnahan and Frank Grillo once again. “I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Joe Carnahan for the fifth time, and Frank Grillo has been a good luck charm for Open Road since its inception, having been featured in Joe’s film ‘The Grey,’ ‘End of Watch’ and ‘Homefront.’”
You’ll be able to catch Copshop in theaters on September 17, 2021.
