Three women in interwoven tales of forbidden love and longed-for redemption that cross over time, identity and familial connection: Jennifer Lawrence (two years before her breakout performance in Winter’s Bone), Charlize Theron and Kim Basinger. All three of them are Academy Award winners, appearing together here in the feature-directing debut of celebrated screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga (Amores Perros; 21 Grams; The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada; Babel).
