Dominic Fike is one of the biggest up-and-comers in the music industry, collabing with big name artists and crafting his own hits. So, what’s next for the musician?

Fike is currently working on his second album, but he still has time to lend a hand to other artists. The singer recently worked with Halsey, slowthai, Remy Wolf, and even Paul McCartney.

 

The Beatles band member recruited Fike for McCartney III Imagined, a reinvention of his 2020 album that featured artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Anderson.Paak, and Fike. McCartney liked Fike’s take on track “The Kiss of Venus,” that he made it the project’s lead single.

In addition to taking over the music world, Fike is also giving acting a try. He will be featured in the upcoming second season of HBO’s hit show, Euphoria. He auditioned for the show’s first season, but his character ended up getting written out of the show. A year later, HBO reached out about potentially starring in season 2, and Fike said yes.
 

 

The artist still sees music as his main gig, though, telling Variety, “[Acting has] become a second career. Now I don’t have to do TikTok, is how I look at it.”

Fike’s new album will feature more rapping and be less “overproduced,” Fike says. “I felt like I had too many producers in the room and too many people telling me what was right and what was wrong,” he said in the same interview. “Now it’s just my mind, similar to how I made ‘Don’t Forget About Me, Demos.’ There were no other people in the room to tell me anything, and I’m not sending this music to other people to give me fucking opinions on it.”
