JUICE WRLD
The Party Never Ends, More Music and a Doc
Almost two years after rapper Juice WRLD’s death, the music continues to roll out. The artist’s team is releasing his second posthumous album, The Party Never Ends.
The album is part of a trilogy, though there are no release dates for the latter albums.
There isn’t really even an official release date for The Party Never Ends. The expected release date of July 2021 came and went with no album, and there’s been no word since.
“I can’t guarantee the album will be this month, but pretty soon,” Peter Jideonwo, the late rapper’s manager, said. “The Party Never Ends is going to be the best album, not only musically but creatively. We got a big collab on the album cover and also the merch. Everything about it is fire. We’re not just doing some basic music…we’re taking our time to craft a classic you’ll talk about for the next ten years.”
Music isn’t the only thing fans are waiting on from Juice WRLD. There’s also been talk of an HBO documentary, but details on that are equally as scarce.
Grade A Productions label head Lil Bibby confirmed that the doc is in the works during a recent Instagram Live, stating, “This year. That’s all I’m gonna say.” He added, “The music gotta get pushed back to when the documentary comes. So I was gonna give y’all the music to go with the documentary, so now I gotta change the title.”
The only official word we have on either of these projects is a teaser video for The Party Never Ends posted to the artist’s YouTube channel in July.
With this much secrecy around both the music and the documentary, we’re either in for a surprise drop, or a longer wait. Fingers crossed they both come sooner, rather than later!
