Alt-Pop Star On The Rise
Presley Regier is poised for alt-pop domination. The singer-songwriter and producer has been working towards a music career for almost a decade now and, with millions of Spotify streams and fans all over the world, it looks like he’s finally made it to the top.

Regier, a California native, taught himself to produce his own music at 13. Two years later, he was reaching out to artists and producers, eager to show them his stuff. Before he turned 21, Regier had already worked on projects for major artists like Doja Cat, Big Sean, and Tyga.

Now, Regier is making a name for himself as an up-and-coming artist in the alt-pop space. He’s been steadily releasing his own music since 2023. EPs like SPILL (all tracks were written and produced by Regier) and Sensitive to the room have earned Regier some major streaming stats, and new single “Dirty Shoes” is delighting fans around the world with it’s grungy, electro-pop sound and vulnerable lyrics.

“I’m so desperate as I move,” he sings over a crisp drumbeat and MGMT-like synths. “Don’t care if I break as long as I get to you // stepped on like some dirty shoes.”
Song “Buy Me A Car” is another standout, seeing the artist beg to be near his lover (“Can you buy me a car? // I’ll go wherever you are”) over a woozy guitar line.
In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, Regier described his music as “very cinematic, nostalgic, retro, and synth-driven.”
“It’s emotional, for sure,” he continued. “I always come back to the word cinematic. Everything has to feel like a coming-of-age movie in my head. I want the synths right in your face. I want them to hit you immediately.”
