British pop artist Rachel Chinouriri is taking the world by storm.

Chinouriri started making music in 2018, which led to a contract with Parlophone. The singer continued to release singles and an EP, Mama’s Boy, but it wasn’t until 2022’s “All I Ever Asked” that her fanbase exploded. “All I Ever Asked” blew up on TikTok.

A few months later, her sophomore EP, Better Off Without, was released, and Chinouriri scored opener slots for major UK acts like Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, and Louis Tomlinson. Fans love her airy vocals, paired with upbeat pop production that gets even a casual listener dancing.

In 2024, Chinouriri dropped her debut album, titled What a Devastating Turn of Events. Her lead singles show how eagerly fans had been waiting for this project — “Never Need Me” racked up over half a million streams before the album even released.

The song is part of Chinouriri’s upcoming sophomore album, I think I spoke too soon, due out October 16.
