These 10 photographers have impressed us all year and some for many years. They are beyond talented with light, composition and finding that erotic moment, capturing that fleeting sensuous moment. When you gaze at these photographer’s images you can feel a tingle becoming something more torrid moving under your skin like someone’s hot breath heavily falling on the back of your neck. You connect physically with the art.
Our favorite erotic photographers of 2021 are, in no paticular order, Reka Nyari, Charles Moriarty, Martin Neuhof, Lexy Parks, Marco Tenaglia, Michael Bomberger, Staci Mitchell, Cam Attree, Jennifer Massaux and Aleksandra Lekovic. They all shoot very differently and challenge themselves quite uniquely with model choice, contrast, textures, light and the use of color or black and white. We know some subjects are met on the street talked into a shoot and lured in a way into the studio by the photographer, or models are cast for the shoot. Some shoot outdoors, some in a much more controlled environment, they all share the sensuous success of providing mystery, provoking us with a sexual tension that mesmerizes us.
