She Takes On Caped Crusader Batwoman
The CW has an exciting new trailer out for the Batwoman this fall. Hordes of patrons come to a local tattoo parlor to get the same tattoo–a bat symbol. This foreshadows the rise of Gotham’s new dark knight, a caped female crusader, who takes down bad guys in the wake of a lost Batman. The series stars Ruby Rose and features Elizabeth Anweis, Dougray Scott, Sam Littlefield, Rachel Skarsten, and Brenden Zub, as well as others. Moreover the producing staff includes Caroline Dries and Sarah Schechter.
This Batwoman character reports the first openly gay tv superhero character, which is exciting for fans. Batwoman’s Jewish heritage is also prominent, and key to the ethos of the character in the show. The diverse origins of Batwoman make her a great character for fans to get lost in immediately through the show.
