2021 brought us some of the most incredible TV we’ve ever seen, but it also led to the end of many shows. So whether you’ll find something to binge on or rewatch something you love, here are the series we’re saying goodbye to this year.

AMERICAN GODS

Nothing is sexier than gods getting it on, so it’s a shame American Gods ended. It features some of the hottest people and some of the best sex scenes.

American Gods is available on Starz.

CURSED

Katherine Langford is impressive in Cursed. You can think of it as a women-led Sword in the Stone narrative. If you’re looking for a quick binge, this one season will go by fast.

Cursed is available on Netflix.

DEAR WHITE PEOPLE

Dear White People introduced us to one of the best voices working in TV and film in creator Justin Simien. The Bad Hair director wrapped up his series, so now is the perfect time to binge the final season.

Dear White People is available on Netflix.

DICKINSON

Hailee Steinfeld never ceases to amaze us. Sadly, her series Dickinson about Emily Dickinson has ended. However, the queer series is something you should go back and watch.

Dickinson is available on AppleTV+.

INSECURE

This show marks the beginning of Issa Rae’s career. Insecure celebrates Black life and love, and it’s crazy that the series finale is right around the corner. Here’s to hoping for a happy ending.

Insecure is available on HBO Max.

LOVECRAFT COUNTRY

Jonathan Majors’ career is also taking off thanks to Lovecraft Country. The leading man taking on monsters will always be a memorable part of 2021.

Lovecraft Country is available on HBO Max.

NARCOS: MEXICO

We love a good spin-off. Narcos: Mexico follows El Chapo, and the three-season narrative takes everything we love about Narcos and puts it into this series.

Narcos: Mexico is available on Netflix.

MONEY HEIST

We’re devastated that Money Heist is coming to an end. Unfortunately, the Spanish series will go out with a bang. But luckily, we’re getting a Korean spin-off that will hopefully include one of our favorite characters.

Money Heist is available on Netflix.

POSE

Pose broke so many boundaries, and we argue that it’s the best Ryan Murphy series out there. It employed the most trans people of any production and mostly an all-Black cast to boot. This series is required viewing PROVOKRs, so get on it.

Pose is available on FX.
