LUCKY DREW STARKEY
Outer Banks Star Making Waves
Breaking out as bad boy Rafe Cameron on Outer Banks and showing incredible range opposite Daniel Craig in Luca Guadagnino’s Queer; as the fifth and final season of OBX arrives this summer, Drew Starkey is poised for a variety of awesome additional projects.

Without spoiling too much on Outer Banks (which is also known as OBX), Starkey’s character has been a bit of a bad guy, but in this final season, he may be forced into uneasy alliances with the rest of the “Pogues” — maybe there is room for some redemption? If you are missing Euphoria — come for the final ride of Outer Banks, arriving on Netflix August 20.

Before Outer Banks’ season premieres, Starkey is set to play the husband of Anya Taylor-Joy’s eponymous lead in Apple TV’s limited series Lucky. The series is produced by Reese Witherspoon (Taylor-Joy is also an EP), features some badass, gorgeous action, and is now streaming.

Starkey continues to expand his relationship with A24, which distributed Queer — he will be in the Adria-Arjona-led action-thriller Onslaught, which debuts in theaters September 4. Starkey will also star opposite Cailee Spaeny in Deep Cuts, a dramatic love story between musicians — again for A24. Outside of all of his amazing A24 work, Starkey will be part of the Jeff Nichols-directed King Snake with Margaret Qualley and Michael Shannon, recently acquired for distribution by Neon.

Beyond the wonderful assortment of on-screen projects, Starkey is a brand ambassador for Dior and YSL. As OBX ends, we can all look forward to Drew Starkey continuing to make waves.
