Music Video: Riding ATVs In "Tommy Lee"
Musicians Post Malone and Tyla Yaweh found inspiration for their latest collaboration from Mötley Crüe. The track titled “Tommy Lee” features the Mötley Crüe drummer and highlights the rockstar life he lives.
Yaweh told NME, “Tommy Lee just doesn’t give a fuck and I love that.”
The video that accompanies the song — watch it above — shows Malone and Yaweh riding in limousines and shredding grass on ATVs. It mirrors the don’t-give-a-shit lyrics: “Pull up with a drum like I’m Tommy Lee/Yaweh got a stick, came to rock with me/Milli on wrist, ain’t no rocks on me/I’m pretty as fuck, wanna copy me.”
The pair also released a behind the scenes look at making the video, which includes eating, smoking and drinking beer. If you want to get a feel for the Yaweh and Malone’s dynamic, check out the supplementary video.
It appears the video was made in Utah, where Post Malone lives and is quarantining. Malone plans to emerge from isolation with a brand new album. Maybe this will be one of the tracks. We can only hope.
