EMILY IN PARIS SEASON 2

Your favorite guilty pleasure is back and it looks as messy as ever. Lily Collins is just as amazing in season 2 as she navigates her different relationships.

DON’T LOOK UP

Adam McKay has mastered satire, and Netflix’s Don’t Look Up is no different. It’s an environmental apocalypse movie with an insane cast. Let me just list it for you here: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Tyler Perry, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Rob Morgan and Mark Rylance. Told you it was insane.

BEING THE RICARDOS

Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are taking on two icons: Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, this R-rated Amazon Prime film will challenge your perceptions of the TV legends.

INSECURE SERIES FINALE

One of our favorite shows is ending, and we are devastated. Issa Rae’s Insecure wraps up its run this weekend with an emotional series finale. Catch up on HBO Max.

THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS

Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly are back for the fourth iteration of The Matrix. This time it’s just Lana Wachowski at the helm, but it’s a far more intimate and immersive experience.

THE SUICIDE SQUAD

James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad was released earlier this year, but it’s heading to HBO Max permanently. Gunn’s version starring Idris Elba, Margot Robbie and John Cena is far better than Suicide Squad, so we encourage you to give this one a chance. It’s is hilarious.

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM SEASON 11 FINALE

Another season of Larry David’s self-deprecating comedy series is coming to an end. Season 11 was incredible, and we can’t wait for season 12 of the HBO series.

A JOURNAL FOR JORDAN

Denzel Washington is about to have a busy week. He directs this heartfelt film about a sergeant who dies in combat. Before he does, he pens a journal for his soon-to-be son about what it would be like to grow up without a father. It stars Michael B. Jordan and is available in theaters this week.

THE TRAGEDY OF MACBETH

As for Washington’s other venture, he is the titular character in Joel Coen’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Macbeth. The black and white venture also features Frances McDormand and Brendan Gleeson. You can see it in theaters this week.
